Nexxus Aloe Rid Shampoo Review: Best Drug Test Shampoo?
This detailed Nexxus Aloe Rid shampoo review is going to bust through the myths about this most powerful of detoxifying shampoo products.
There’s an awful lot of rubbish talked about Aloe rid detox shampoo, and passing hair follicle drug tests generally. So I want to make sure that you leave this page fully informed, and not vulnerable to buying crap that doesn’t work. That’s the trap I fell into, and I want you to avoid the same fate.
We will talk about the history of old style Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo, and why the new style is useless. I’ll also tell you what’s in it, how it works, and also my experiences with it.
Plus, so you don’t get ripped off, I’ll also explain exactly where you need to buy it, and what you need to buy, to pass a hair follicle drug test using this powerful drug test shampoo.
What Is A Drug Test Shampoo?
The object of any drug test shampoo is to get rid of drug toxins in the hair so that you can pass a hair follicle drug test.
But there are two problems with this theory:
- Drug toxins are trapped within the hair, not on it. They get trapped in the hair follicles, and grow out of the head within the hair shaft, underneath the hard outer layer called the cuticle. So it doesn’t matter what you use, it’s not going to get rid of the toxins unless it can open up the hardcore outer layer of the hair shaft.
- No single hair product, not even the fabled old style Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo, can open up the cuticle layer on its own, and flush out all the drug toxins. You need multiple products, you need a method. I’ll talk about that later.
So don’t fall for the hype. Any hair follicle detox shampoo out there that claims it can permanently get rid of toxins is lying. Unless you can get rid of the toxins trapped within the hair strand itself, you will fail a drug test.
Understanding that basic principle will save you a lot of money and wasted effort. The only shampoo that has ever come close to achieving that is the old-style Nexxus Aloe Rid shampoo.
The History Of Aloe Rid Detox Shampoo
Nexxus is a company that made a fantastic shampoo. It was a clarifying shampoo that was designed to help free the hair from free radicals, heavy metals, and toxins from urban living.
It was also designed for swimmers, to get rid of chlorine and other hard chemicals in the hair. It was very good at it, almost too good because it had a detrimental side effect.
The side-effect was that some people got red and irritated scalps. But it was great for getting rid of toxins. So people were using it to try and pass drug tests, and some were having success with it, but not everyone.
However, Nexxus changed the formula to make it milder, and any hope of passing a hair follicle drug test using the old style Nexxus detox shampoo vanished.
But because there were old stocks around, people realized it had value. Prices shot up, and on eBay and Amazon, people started to charge up to $200 for the stuff. You can still see listings on both of those sites claiming to sell the original stock.
To make it worse, people were forging it. Sticking any old shampoo in cheaply manufactured bottles to mimic old style Nexxus Aloe Rid shampoo.
I’ll tell you now. No old stocks exist anymore. If you see any listing on a website telling you it’s original old stock, even claiming to be able to prove it through the barcode or batch serial numbers, ignore it. It’s a fake, it’s a con.
However, the old Nexxus formula was recreated a couple of years ago by a company called TestClear. They have rebadged it as “old style Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo. It’s exclusively available from them, but it does cost a lot of money.
What Makes Aloe Toxin Rid The Best Detox Shampoo?
I’ll be honest, I’m not 100% clear on what makes Aloe Toxin Rid so special as a detox shampoo. It’s obviously the strength in the combination of ingredients. But which ingredients are actually opening up the cuticles and stripping out the toxins, I’m not sure about.
Some people say it’s the propylene glycol that is doing it. This is a manufactured chemical that presents in a lot of beauty products. It’s meant to have the power to open up the cuticles, which is the key part that has to be achieved to flush out the toxins that are trapped on the shaft inside.
However, unequivocally it does work. But here’s the rub. It doesn’t work 100% in all cases on its own. You need a process to really work the toxins out, and Aloe Rid shampoo is only one product within that process.
It’s called the Macujo method, and I will go through it in detail later. But that’s what makes Aloe Toxin Rid the best detox shampoo, it has the strength to at least partly eradicate drug toxins that are trapped within the hair shaft itself.
Old Style Aloe Toxin Rid Shampoo Review: Instructions
So look, don’t get fooled into using Aloe Rid on its own. You might get lucky, lots of people did, especially with light toxin exposure.
But if you have heavy exposure to toxins, let’s be blunt here, let’s say you’re taking a lot of drugs, then those toxins are going to be trapped all along the shaft of every hair on your head. That’s going to take a lot of shifting, and even worse if you’ve got complex hair.
So you need to use it as part of the method. The method that was developed by somebody who understood more about chemistry than me, is called the Macujo method.
I’ve written a detailed review of the Macujo method, which you can read by clicking here. However, briefly, it’s about doing the following:
- Using a combination of ingredients in order to open up the hair shafts, strip out the toxins, and then close up the cuticle layer again and condition the hair.
- You need a specific combination of ingredients to achieve this: old style Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo, Clean & Clear pink (or any salicylic shampoo), Tide detergent or similar, good quality vinegar, plus Zydot Ultra Clean shampoo.
- Using plenty of water, you cycle through using each of the ingredients. Each cycle of the Macujo method will open up the hair shaft and strip out drug toxins.
- You’ll have to do the Macujo method multiple times. If you have a week before your test then you should do it twice per day. Less time, three times per day. If you only have a couple of days, four times per day.
My Experiences Using This Drug Test Shampoo
So look guys I’ve used old style Aloe Toxin Rid from TestClear as part of the Macujo method. I actually passed a full-on hair drug test last year for an internal management promotion. They were taking it seriously, and hair follicle drug tests are what they did. But thankfully I heard in advance that was what they were going to use, so I had several days to prepare.
I did the Macujo method three times per day for four days. I regularly smoke, a couple of joints most evenings, so I knew I’d have months of drug metabolites trapped in my hair.
But the Macujo method with Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo worked a treat. Let me tell you, the Macujo method is useless unless you use Aloe Rid. No other detox shampoo is powerful enough.
I also have a friend who passed a hair drug test in April 2019. He used the Macujo method as well. Also, he’s African-American and has really long Rasta hair, dreadlocks. So look, if it’s powerful enough to him and me, it will be powerful enough for you, whoever you are, whatever your hair type.
Buying Old Style Aloe Toxin Rid Shampoo
It should be clear now that you have to buy old style Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo from TestClear. They are the people who make the old-style formula now, and it’s the only place you can buy it from.
But it’s not cheap. Let me warn you, you’re going to be paying well over $200 to get a bottle. However, you will use an entire bottle if you are doing the Macujo method about 10 times before your hair drug test.
On the positive side, they do a combination deal that will save you quite a bit of money. You can buy old-style Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo, plus Zydot Ultra Clean for $235. Both are essential to the Macujo method, and you’re saving money by getting that combination deal.
So the conclusion of this Nexxus Aloe Rid shampoo is that you need it to pass a hair follicle drug test. It’s a required part of the Macujo method, and you simply won’t get your hair 100% clean unless you go through the whole process using the right ingredients.
