Quick Fix 6.2 Synthetic Urine Review | Sub Solution Vs Quick Fix
In this Quick Fix review, I’m going to tell you about what is undoubtedly one of the most popular synthetic urine products you can buy.
But just how good is it? There has been some talk online about Quick Fix failing people, so I want to look at these claims in detail, to answer the question: does Quick Fix work?
We’ll talk about using Quick Fix for drug tests, instructions, what you get, and top tips on using it, so that you don’t fail for the number one reason people fail when trying to submit a fake sample.
I’ll also tell you about a couple of alternative synthetic urine products, which for me stand a far better chance of passing a drug test.
What Is Quick Fix?
Quick Fix is a brand of synthetic urine made by a company called Spectrum Labs. The latest formula is Quick Fix 6.2.
It’s available in two sizes, Quick Fix standard which costs $30 for 2oz, and Quick Fix Plus, which is a larger 3 fluid ounce bottle for $40. I would always recommend you buy Quick Fix Plus because some labs insist on a larger sample size than 2 fluid ounces.
Quick Fix is premixed synthetic urine. So it’s not a powder that you have to mix up. It’s ready to go. All you have to do is follow the simple instructions to use it, and that takes a matter of moments.
How Good Is Spectrum Labs Quick Fix 6.2: What Does It Contain?
To stand a chance of passing a urine sample drug test, synthetic urine has to contain basics that are present in human urine. But it is not just chemicals, it’s the structure of the urine that has to mimic human urine as well, otherwise, it could get detected as fake during validity testing.
What happens is when you hand the sample over, they have to check it within a matter of moments to make sure it’s within the correct temperature range. They have to accept the sample if it’s between 90°F and 100°F.
They then test it to make sure it’s a valid sample. They check that it’s not been diluted, and they check that it’s not adulterated. These tests can pick up certain chemicals which are popular adulterants.
They also look for biocide. This is a preservative used in a lot of brands of synthetic urine. Thankfully, Quick Fix doesn’t contain that. They will also check that it contains basic chemicals found in human urine, things like urea, uric acid, and creatine.
So how does Quick Fix stack up alongside these requirements? Well, when you buy Quick Fix you are buying synthetic urine that has the following structure:
- Contains urea
- Contains uric acid
- Contains creatine
- Balanced for specific gravity
- Is within the correct pH range for human urine
- Contains other chemicals found in human urine
So it’s a great basic formula synthetic urine, which will be hard to detect. But it’s not the most advanced formula on the market and doesn’t contain many chemicals that are found in human urine. If you are faced with enhanced validity testing, then you could get caught out using Quick Fix. Quick Fix Reviews Online: What People Say About It
Another concern about using Quick Fix is that it isn’t the most realistic -looking synthetic urine. It doesn’t froth like human urine, doesn’t smell like it, and for me, doesn’t quite look the same color as human urine, although I accept that human urine can come in a multitude of different tones.
You’ll see tons of user reviews online, most of them are positive, saying things like this:
“I ordered this stuff for a pre employment urine analysis and was super skeptical. I thought no way this could work. I was nervous when I left my sample at the lab but to my amazement it worked. It passed the urine analysis and I was able to start my new job.”
However, there are also negative reviews. However, you have to bear in mind that some people don’t use Quick Fix properly, they don’t follow the instructions, and I’m guessing that they submitted the sample within the wrong temperature range, so they got caught out.
The one thing that people do say online about Quick Fix which concerns me is that there is a video on YouTube where a guy claiming to be a lab assistant says you can spot Quick Fix because it has a slight green highlight to the liquid.
On the positive side, you’d have to be a pretty scrupulous person to be peering through samples of urine when the companies commissioning them are paying about $40 apiece, you’re just not going to be encouraged to be that rigorous.
Quick Fix Urine Instructions
So let’s quickly look at Quick Fix instructions to pass a drug test:
- Because Quick Fix is premixed, you don’t need to add water to the powder, it’s ready to go.
- Microwave the sample for about 10 seconds. Shake it gently, then look at the temperature strip. If it’s not registering, microwave it for another 10 seconds. By that point, you should be registering on the temperature strip. Be careful if it’s not because you might have overheated the sample, meaning that the temperature is above 100°F, where again it won’t register.
- Activate the air-activated heatpad, strap the sample to it with an elastic band, or for more security some tape, and tuck it inside the second pair of underpants over your first pair.
- As you get close to the testing location, check the sample temperature. If it’s close to 90°F, then you might need to raise the temperature slightly. I always advise taking a flask of boiling water with you. Nobody is going to look twice at the flask, and it allows you to pour hot water onto the sample to raise it a few degrees quickly.
My best advice is always to make sure you pay close attention to the sample temperature. That is the biggest reason people fail drug tests. It’s not the complexity of the formula of synthetic urine like Quick Fix which is usually the problem, especially not for basic pre-employment drug tests; it’s the sample being submitted at the wrong temperature.
Where To Buy Quick Fix 6.2
When it comes to talking about where to buy Quick Fix, the only place I would ever buy Quick Fix 6.2 from is this shop. The reason for that is it’s a fantastically reliable and trusted specialist webstore.
You can buy products like Quick Fix on general sites like eBay, Amazon, and Craiglist. The problem with this is it’s often stock which has been picked up cheap from somewhere because it’s close to its use-by date (which is stamped on the product).
So you could end up with Quick Fix that’s only good for a couple of months, or that’s already expired, which raises the danger of it starting to spoil and not passing the validity checks at the lab.
Alternatives To Quick Fix Synthetic Urine
Does Quick Fix work? Yes, it definitely does. The evidence is overwhelming. If you use Quick Fix for drug test success, then the chances are you will pass. As long as you make sure the sample temperature is correct, and as long as it’s only a basic level drug test then you should be fine.
However, if you are facing a more advanced drug test, or you just want an extra guarantee, then there are two better products out there.
- Sub Solution synthetic urine is the most popular brand of synthetic urine on the market. However, it costs twice as much as Quick Fix. It’s also a powder, so you need to mix it with water before you can use it.
However, it’s a more complex formula, and you stand far less chance of getting caught out. On top of that, you don’t stand a chance of the heatpad failing, like you do with Quick Fix. Sub solution uses heat activator powder which means you don’t even have to heat the sample until you get to the testing lab.
When you are outside, just tap in some of the powder, agitate it, and keep doing that until the temperature is within the right range on the sample bottle strip.
- Quick Luck is actually the big brother of Sub Solution. It’s more expensive, costing $100 instead of $80. It’s a slightly more advanced formula than sub solution, and it comes premixed.
You also get the amazing heat activator powder. But, you get a pair of high-quality heatpads as well. So you can heat the sample in advance, and transport it to the lab warm. That way, you can check the sample and you probably won’t have to add any more heat activator powder at all, but taking it with you, you’ll still have that option.
So there you go, that’s my Quick Fix review, it’s a brilliant budget synthetic urine. As long as you know where to buy Quick Fix that’s well within date, then Quick Fix works for any basic drug test.
